World Trade Center & Pentagon Aircraft-Bombings

Terrorism – The Third World War?

The 11 September Massacre

On 11 September 2001, terrorists deliberately flew commercial jet aircraft into the World Trade Center's twin towers located in New York City, U.S.A. and the Pentagon, located near Washington D.C. U.S.A. The thousands of missing and dead are a cross-section of people from many nations and religions.

In the aftermath, U.S. President, George W. Bush, on behalf of the American people declared war on global terrorism and nations that aid, abet, and shield terrorists. Most of the World's nations have in one way or another joined with the Americans' war on terrorism -- that could make this anti-terror campaign World War III if there is combat.. The initial focus of the war on terrorism and evil is on Osama bin Laden, bin Laden's al-Qaida group, and the Taliban.

This page will serve as a combination index and content page for news, information, articles, opinions, and features about the World Trade Center and Pentagon aircraft-bombings, the 11 September massacre, and terrorism -- possibly the Third World War.

Thoughts of an American Student

To the editor:

There is nothing we can do
Or nothing we can say

That can change the events
That have happened to us today.

The streets were filled with dust and dirt
To extremes we've never seen,

And all to try and interrupt
With freedom so pristine.

But freedom cannot be destroyed
Nor can it be erased,

And all attempts to interfere
Will always be a waste.

So freedom we must endeavor
For freedom is a right by God

And those who died with faith in God
Will walk with Him forever.

An American High School Senior

(23 Sept. 2001) Economist Walter Williams is one of many Americans who are concerned about overzealous, anti-terrorist law enforcement infringing upon the great freedoms and liberties of the American people. Speaking on ABC's Philadelphia affiliate program Inside Story today, Williams called for "restraint" on compromising liberty and "ruthlessness" in fighting terrorism.

If even only one small American right or liberty is compromised, then the terrorists have won! Think about that!
