Downloading Step 1:
Create a directory on your local hard drive for the Netscape 6.0 installation package that you are about to download.
Downloading Step 2:
Point your FTP client or FTP capable browser to the URL listed below for your operating system. Then locate the designated file in that directory.

(Note: if you try to look at that FTP Linux directory in Windows you might see netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-sea_tar.tar instead of netscape-i686-pc-linux-gnu-sea_tar.gz. Don't worry about that. When you go to download it in Linux, Linux will get it right.)

Downloading Step 3:
Download the NS-6.0 full install package for your operating system (OS) listed in Step 2 to the local directory you created in Step 1, above.
This download will take some time, particularly if you are using a telephone-line modem to connect to the Internet. However, there is no use to getting upset with how long it takes to complete this download. You only have to download the install file once. (Please see the downloading tip above.)
