Installation Step 7:
Congratulations if you now have the Start Install screen shown in Figure 7. You have successfully worked your way through all the pre-install selections and options screens.

Please carefully check all the settings displayed in the Current Settings box in the Start Install screen. If they are the way you want them merely click Install to start your Netscape 6.0 Installation. If not, please use the Back buttons to backtrack through the pre-install selections and options screens until you find the item(s) you want to change.
There is no Current Settings box in the Linux installation.
Installation Step 8:
It will take some time for the installation process to expand the files and copy them to the destination directory you selected. Then it will take more time for the install program to set up and configure everything installation-wise.
As the installation process is winding down, a really crummy input box (the Desktop Integration box) pops up asking you if you want Windows to update your desktop integration preferences. (Please see Figure 8.) Notice there is no way to find out here just what that will do -- that's why it is crummy. When in doubt, do not let Netscape sucker you into something you might not want to do. Just say no!

You can set the desktop integration items later when you set the preferences. We show you how to set preferences in the Configuring Netscape section later on.
Congratulations, you just successfully installed Netscape 6. Now let's move on to the basic Netscape 6 configuration.
